Makena’s Stormcrow rattled and shook as a half-dozen shells glanced from her armor. The diagnostic diagram on her neurohelmet’s HUD flashed orange in places, but still didn’t show the angry red of a major armor breach. It’d just be a matter of time, if another barrage like that hit her. Her dark lips spread into an angry grimace at the sheer waste of the design.

“I did not think the Widowmakers had ammunition to throw away like that. It is no wonder the whole Clan has turned bandit, quineg?”

“They do not use many Light Autocannons,” Radivan cut in. Makena’s eyes narrowed maliciously—she and Radivan had come to hate one another long before they’d left their sibko. That Makena had earned an early promotion and Radivan had not had always been a point of contention between them—and something Makina had chosen to exploit in an effort to get the best performance possible out of her highly competitive sib. “They likely have more shells than they can reasonably expect use. Plus, it is the Widowmakers. It only makes sense that they have found a more efficient way to waste the stores they do have.”

Special Rules
Necrosia Stimulants Once per game, BattleMechs and Elementals may inject themselves with Necrosia stimulants granting them heightened reaction times for three turns. While Necrosia stimulants are active, Mechwarriors gain a -1 bonus to gunnery due to their heightened reaction times but suffer a +1 penalty to piloting tests due to minor visual hallucinations. Elementals in Ironhold Armor gain a -1 bonus to gunnery with no penalties. All other Elementals instead gain a -2 bonus to Anti-Mech attacks with no penalties.
Icy Conditions Ice hexes are in play. At the bottom of the ravine, all ice hexes are treated as though they are elevation -6. It is possible to break through these ice hexes and fall into the liquid water below. If a `Mech does not extract itself from the water in two turns it will be frozen in place and immobilized (or destroyed if completely submerged).
